How did you give today?

What if, right now, a large number of people were provoked to behave in a way which made other people feel inspired; positive; resourceful; confident; loved and happy. What would happen if in one weeks time a group of individuals decided to get creative and with loving intention  give in a way that would cause other people to be grateful? Possibly a simple post to a simple blog would be enough to stimulate action.

Gratitude is reflected in attitude and attitude is the mast of every one's ship. Feeling grateful is expansive. It stretches awareness and unifies, if only for a moment, beyond the limiting sense of self. Gratitude requires awareness of being thankful for something or someone beyond "I". Gratitude is unifying.

Giving can prove challenging, what, how or when to give often poses enough of an obstacle that following through with the idea of giving may pass to the wayside. Considerations such as, "How will I be taken?" or "I don't want them to think that ...." may void intention before it is set into play.

Have you ever told a stranger how beautiful they are without having ulterior motives, such as a date or getting out of the "dog house"?  Have you ever discovered a note posted somewhere obvious that expresses something unusual, constructive and sweet.

~ Giving unconditionally is reciprocity in and of itself. ~

This is written with the intention to inspire Random Acts of Kindness and with the opportunity for people to share their experiences  resulting from this post and to read the experiences of others.

If you decide to participate. All you have to do is make someone elses day, by giving in a sincere loving way. If you woul like to share the process and see how all this turns out, share your own story and read the comments left under this post at http://www.tinapitts.blogspot.com/
