Emotions are amazing. They color life with an array of diversity. They are energetic aspects of human experience, enabling each individual to express their frame of mind and attitude, while symbiotically experiencing their reaction, to the perception, they currently exercise.
Emotions are cogs which turn the wheels of cause and effect on personal and social circumstance, for instance, the stock market is an emotionally volatile entity. People's emotional reactions to economic, political and other world issues greatly influence, financial choices. The outcome can be observed by following the stock exchange and witnessing economic strength or weakness.
Ones emotional health is a powerful source of influence that helps form and change life - physically, mentally and spiritually. It is crucial that one comprehends the magnitude of emotional health and that they take responsibility for how their emotions influence not only themselves, but others.
People are often driven by their emotions, allowing their lives to be dictated by how they feel in flux, rather then by learning to control and manage their emotional reactions, in a way which helps promote optimum - physical, mental and spiritual health. The difference between being emotionally reactive and emotionally active is huge. It is comparable to being the ball in a pinball machine, or the person choosing when to hit the flipper button on the pinball machine. In other words are you the ball or the player?
Individual belief systems generate emotional reactions. "What do I believe that makes me feel this way?" is a question/tool that can be of great personal benefit. Posing this question when undesirable emotions are being experienced or afterwards, can help one realize the source of their pain, discomfort, anger etc. It also enables one to become responsible for their emotions rather then blaming others for the way they feel.
Nobody makes anyone else feel emotions. Each individual is responsible for their own emotional experiences. Blaming others for ones emotional experiences only serves to deflect personal responsibility and accountability for individual health-care. Don't take anything personal, a criticism or compliment.
The moment one takes other peoples opinions to heart they foster deficient power. Optimum power arises from self confidence. It does not rely on other peoples opinion as source for momentum. Depleted power is the result of low self esteem. It plummets when other people's negative opinions are taken as truth. If one gains a sense of confidence by embracing the truth, that, they are worthy of life in abundance, full of love, then they will emanate magnanimous positive energy. If one gains a sense of low self esteem by embracing the illusion that they are unworthy of life in abundance and full of love, then they will emanate magnanimous negative energy.
Emotions are a mind-body-spirit experience. Physically, emotions cause chemical reactions in the brain and body. Chemicals/hormones such as adrenaline are caused by fear. Too much adrenaline exhausts the nervous system and promotes poor health. Dopamine is released when one falls in love, resulting in a sense of dopiness and euphoria. If one's chemical/hormonal reaction to emotional experiences becomes excessive then emotions can literally make one sick. The opposite is true also, if one is sick, they can use positive emotions to heal. Love and joy occur simultaneously with the release of dopamine and oxytocin, both are anti-inflammatory drugs used pharmaceutically, that offer different healthy benefits.
Emotional wealth is determined by emotional health. Everyone is emotionally wealthy. Some are more wealthy in fear, others love. The wealth one has is the source from which they share. How do you contribute to life? What emotins run you? What emotions do you choose to run?
